James G. Rowe

James grew up in Altoona, Iowa attending Southeast Polk K-12 and later attending Grand View College for his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Finance.  After working as a Manager for a national financial corporation, James decided to pursue a different career in law and graduated Cum Laude in 2005 from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach earning his Juris Doctor Degree.  In his last year of law school James interned for the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section in Washington D.C.

After graduating from law school, James returned to Iowa with his young family to start his legal career.  In his now fifteen years of practice, James has handled many criminal cases from simple misdemeanors to felonies, divorce, custody and child support cases, juvenile cases, adoptions and guardianships, as well as handling many real estate and municipal matters.

In addition, James has vast experience as a Family Law Mediator helping families resolve very difficult disputes for the best interest of their families.  James taught Mediation at the University of the West Indies, training the very first group of mediators for the newly implemented Supreme Court mandated mediation program in the nation of Belize, Central America.  James is also on the roster of the first certified mediators in Belize.

James is also active in the community in his role on the Wayne County Civil Service Commission, Board Member of the Southeast Warren Athletic Boosters, President of the Milo Planning and Zoning Commission, and Treasurer of the Southeast Warren 2020 Senior Class fundraising organization.
