Randall L. Jackson

Randy has over 27 years of successful practice of law in varied areas.   

Randy is a teacher and farmer’s son born and raised in southern Iowa.   He helped on the farm year-round and, through raising hogs as a teenager in 4-H, funded the majority of his college costs.  Randy graduated from a high school class of 16 and received his Political Science degree from Northwest Missouri State in 1994.   

Following receipt of his law degree from Drake Law School in 1997, Randy began his legal career as an Assistant County Attorney in Black Hawk County, where he represented the State in numerous criminal jury and non-jury trials.   

Upon moving to Des Moines in 2002, Randy continued his legal career as a private practitioner, assisting clients at both the district and appellate court level in various areas.  Since that time, he has helped clients navigate sometimes difficult and emotional legal issues in various areas, including complex debtor/creditor issues, family, juvenile, estate/probate matters and criminal defense.  Randy assists creditors retrieve assets and recover unpaid debts.   He helps individuals and businesses with their real estate transactions and corporate dealings.   

Randy represents clients in civil and criminal appeals, arguing appellate cases in front of both the Iowa Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals.
